Frequency Distribution of Bullish & Bearish Relative Stength Index signals for S&P 500 constituents updated up to Apr-25 (Thursday). Use blue widget below to further filter by Sector

Calculation Methodology: Bullish signal when RSI < 30; Bearish signal when RSI > 70
Only Current S&P500 constituents are considered (even for historical dates)

How to use this:
Elevated numbers of stocks hitting bullish signals may signal nearing short/medium-term bottoms for the broader market or a particular sector
Similarly, elevated numbers of bearish signals may signal nearing short/medium-term tops
Note that these peaks can be spiky and less reliable for finding tops/bottoms as technical indicators are short-term oriented
